Getting the furniture out

Most furniture that needs to go is too heavy for one person, too big for a car, and too awkward for the stairs. That is the whole problem, and it is the part we are here for.

We take single items and whole houses, anywhere in Brisbane and surrounds. You do not need to move anything to the kerb or take anything apart first.

Furniture we take

If it is furniture and it needs to leave, it is on the list:

• Beds, bed frames, mattresses and bases

How a furniture pickup works

Send a photo of the piece or the room. That is usually enough for a price, and the quote is free.

Tell us where it is sitting. Upstairs, down a side path or in a back bedroom is normal and we plan for it.

We carry it out, load it and sweep up after ourselves. Nothing needs to be dismantled or dragged outside beforehand.

Anything still in good condition is donated where possible instead of being tipped.

What furniture removal costs

Price follows how much room it takes on the trailer and what it is made of. A single mattress and a five piece lounge suite are not the same job, and we quote what is actually in front of us.

Honest pricing with no hidden fees, agreed before anything is lifted. One item is a perfectly normal booking and we are happy to come for it.

We price by the cubic metre, so you only pay for what goes: $99 per cubic metre inc GST, with a minimum job of $165 inc GST.

Mattresses and beds

Mattresses are one of the most common things we take, and one of the hardest to get rid of yourself. They do not fit in a car, they are awkward on stairs, and waiting for a kerbside collection can take months.

Single, double, queen or king, with or without the base and frame, we take them from wherever they are in the house. A mattress on its own is a normal booking, and it can go in with the rest of a clear out too.

Where the furniture ends up

A lounge that somebody else could use should not go to landfill because it no longer suits your living room. Usable furniture is donated where possible, and that is part of the job rather than something you have to ask for.

What is genuinely past it is disposed of responsibly. Either way you do not have to sort it, photograph it, list it or wait around for somebody who said they would come and collect it.
